Le poste

Your missions are the following:

Reporting to the Safety team of our Design Office, the System Engineering Manager will work on our Autonomous Train project to define future requirements, concepts and interfaces with the train control system. His or her main responsibilities will be to :

  • Leading, coordinating and planning the project studies, from launch to commissioning and production in compliance with the group's processes, interfacing with the industrialization, mechanical and electronic teams.
  • Guarantee the delivery of studies in compliance with the predefined QCD (Quality, Cost, Time) objectives.
  • Manage project risks and alert if QCD objectives are called into question and/or if the proposed solutions do not meet the customer's contractual expectations.
  • Be the interface and technical guarantor of the product towards the customer
  • Arbitrate technical choices with the support of the technical group managers and architects
  • Ensure monthly QCD reporting: budget, schedule, hot spots, hours consumed and define the remaining work
  • Participate in work groups at the European level              

Profil recherché

Profiles sought:

  • With a degree in Systems Engineering, you have 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • You are already familiar with the standard safety environments (EN50128, DO178C)
  • Knowledge of the train system: command control and signalling with experience in CCS projects (ETCS/CBTC/TCMS...)
  • Knowledge in the deployment of automatic operation systems
  • Knowledge of railway standards
  • You have an analytical and synthetic mind, you have good interpersonal skills, writing skills and the ability to listen.
  • You adapt easily to new technologies (Ethernet, webserver, webservices,...) and to different projects.
  • Fluent in English as you interact with the USA
  • You are able to lead and federate a development team
  • Motivation, tenacity and scientific rigor will be key assets for this position
  • Organized and reactive, you will have to face the diversity of the problems encountered


Remuneration:

Type of contract : CDI
Salary : Between 50,000 and 60,000 € Gross /13 months depending on experience
